Near Airport is a professional League of Legends team formed by a group of legendary players with a mission to qualify for the League of Legends Championship of the Americas (LTA).

The team was formed when Ming "Spica" Lu suggested to Peter "Doublelift" Peng the idea of creating a team for the Open Qualifiers. The roster quickly came together with Eugene "Pobelter" Park joining as mid laner, followed by Vincent "Biofrost" Wang as support. The final piece was Ashkan "TF Blade" Homayouni, marking his professional debut after years as a high-elo streamer.

The team's name "Near Airport" is a playful nod to the League esports community joke about teams that are eliminated early from tournaments being "already at the airport" - ready to go home.

Despite being formed with a casual approach, the team aims to make their mark in the North American competitive scene.
